Wii can do it!

A new plan for a new year. That fat, blubbery silhouette in the logo is me and I can’t stand it anymore!!

I got the Wii Fit for my birthday last week .  My plan is to get Fit by changing my diet and using the Wii Fit daily. That will be my only form of excercise.

These are the games I have right now:

  • Wii Fit: I have not even explored the disk that came with the board so I can’t list the games here
  • Wii Cheer: this is my 5 year old’s game, it looks like there is some aerobics built in and neat cheer routines
  • Shaun White Snowboarding: probably more fun that fitness but I am a real oaf, this may help with balance

I would like try DDR if I improve my stamina & coordination.  I would love to someday be healthy/Fit enough to go running, like real running…you know, outside…

I will be posting my Starting Stats/Goals on Monday, Weigh-Ins will be on Fridays.  I will also do regular photo updates but I haven’t decided how frequently.

As far as eating plans, I am not sure what I am going to do exactly. There is a book I want to check out called Food Matters. I want to change my overall way of eating. My general go-to WOE (way of eating) is Low Carb but I would like to try to focus particulary on natural, healthy foods, lots of veggies. I’ve almost cut redmeat out entirely, I eat a lot of turkey & chicken, would like to eat more fish. I don’t drink sugary pop, coffee or any caffiene and as a general rule I don’t eat fast food but…I go on months-long benders where I find I just binge out on chocolate, ice cream, subway footlong BMTs, chocolate chip cookies, boston creme donuts and beer….oh and the occasional secret trip to White Castle.  That would be why I am fat.

So..check back next week and see if I can start getting Fit with my Wii!
